Position: Offshore Structural Engineer; YOE: 8 - 25 Years; Contract: On Permanent Role. We re hiring Offshore Structural Engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai. Graduate in Civil Engg / Structural Engg desired, Post Graduate in Structural Engg / Offshore Structure is preferable. Candidates conversant with SACS software for analysis / design of offshore structures. Hands on experience in performing In place / Inservice and Preservice analysis of Fixed platform Jacket topsides / FPSO / Floater Topside Modules. Also Experience in Spectral Fatigue / Seismic, On bottom stability, Pile handling, Floatation Upending for Jackets / platforms will be an added advantage. Experience in using SESAM / STAAD Pro / SAP2000 FEM software s ANSYS / ABACUS would be an advantage. Responsible to provide inputs to structural modelers / drafting team, check 3D Model Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works / equivalent 3D Model viewers, prepare MTO / BOQ / BOM, Inputs for Weight Control report, verify other Disc data for Weight Control report. Familiar with Structural Material Grades / fabrication aspects / detailing aspects; Well Head Platforms, Process Platforms FPSO topside Modules , Offshore Fixed platforms , Jacket design , Top sides design; Pre service analysis, In service analysis, Seismic analysis, Fatigue Analysis , Push Over analysis , Jacket launch Analysis. SACS Software, ANSYS software, Genie Software.
