Role & responsibilities Maintain and manage daily, weekly and monthly financial records related to petrol bunk operations. Handle cash flow management , ensuring smooth day-to-day financial transactions. Prepare and maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices, credit notes and debit notes related to fuel transactions. Record all fuel purchases, stock entries and supplier payments in accounting software. Track customer payments, credit sales and outstanding dues for both retail and bulk sales. Ensure timely payment collection from customers and reconcile accounts accordingly. Handle POS machine transactions, digital payments and UPI reconciliations for fuel sales. Verify and reconcile bank deposits, cash collections and credit sales reports daily. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements related to petrol bunk operations. File monthly GST returns, tax payments and statutory filings as per government regulations. Manage stock register maintenance as per legal requirements. Liaise with auditors and government authorities for compliance audits and regulatory filings . Monitor fuel stock levels and sales reports to maintain accurate accounting records. Coordinate with fuel suppliers, transporters and vendors for timely stock replenishment. Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile with book records. Prepare daily sales reports, cash flow statements, and reconciliation statements . Generate and analyze monthly P&L reports, balance sheets and financial summaries . Provide management with insights on fuel sales, credit collection and profitability trends . Work closely with petrol bunk managers, finance teams and external auditors . Coordinate with banks for loan documentation, overdraft facilities and fund management . Ensure seamless financial operations between accounts, procurement and sales teams . As per requirement basis need to visit Petrol Bunk at Gummudipoondi. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in petrol bunk / fuel station accounts . Experience handling bulk fuel supply accounts, dealer management and stock reconciliations is a plus. Familiarity with oil company invoicing and reporting requirements (HPCL, IOCL, BPCL, etc).
