Office Peon

A CMMI Level 3 organization with office Salt Lake, Kolkata is looking for an experienced Peon/Office Assistant with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Job Summary

The Peon/Office Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day administrative and office operations. The role involves handling basic clerical tasks, maintaining cleanliness, assisting staff, and ensuring smooth functioning of office activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with general office work such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and delivering documents.

· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the office premises, including workstations, meeting rooms, and pantry area.

· Serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and visitors as required.

· Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and packages.

· Assist in arranging meeting rooms and seating arrangements for internal or external meetings.

· Help with basic errands both inside and outside the office.

· Support administrative / accounts staff in day-to-day operations.

· Ensure office supplies are stocked and inform the admin team when replenishment is needed.

· Assist in opening and closing the office premises, if required.

· Perform any other duty assigned by the management.

Requirements

· Minimum education: 12th pass (preferred but not mandatory).

· Prior experience as a peon/office assistant preferred.

· Basic understanding of office operations.

· Physically fit and able to lift light materials when required.

· Polite, punctual, and reliable.

· Ability to follow instructions and handle tasks responsibly.
