We’re Hiring: Drafting & Design Engineer (Road Construction)
We are looking for a skilled Drafting & Design Professional with strong technical expertise in road construction projects. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proficient in engineering software, and capable of producing accurate drawings and BOQs.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing detailed Drafting & Design drawings for road construction projects.Conducting BOQ Analysis with accurate quantity take-offs.Performing in-depth Drawing Study to identify discrepancies and technical requirements.Preparing complete Tender Documentation, including technical specifications and quantities.Coordinating with project teams to ensure design compliance and execution accuracy.Maintaining proper documentation and revising drawings as per site requirements.📘 Technical Knowledge RequiredUnderstanding of road construction layers:Subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, etc.Knowledge of compaction/density requirements for each layer as per relevant standards.Familiarity with highway specifications, IRC/MoRTH standards (preferred).Ability to read, interpret, and modify technical drawings.💻 Software ProficiencyAutoCAD (required)MS Excel & WordKnowledge of other drafting/quantity tools is an added advantage.🛣 ExperienceMinimum experience in Road Construction Projects (site or design background).Strong understanding of construction methodology and material specifications.
