Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ODI Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintenance, and monitoring for Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in ODI, troubleshooting integrations, managing production issues, and supporting ETL workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 production support for ODI environments.
Monitor ODI interfaces, scenarios, load plans, and ensure successful data loads.
Troubleshoot failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies in ODI workflows.
Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions.
Perform regular health checks, validations, and ODI repository maintenance.
Manage and deploy code migrations across development, QA, and production environments.
Work closely with functional, DBA, and application teams to resolve integration issues.
Support batch processes, scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, ODI Scheduler), and job retries.
Document recurring issues, resolutions, and create knowledge-base articles.
Ensure adherence to SLAs and provide on-call/after-hours support if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11g/12c).
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database concepts.
Experience in analyzing ODI logs, error codes, and debugging ETL workflows.
Understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and integration methodologies.
Familiarity with ODI architecture, repositories (Master/Work), and agents.
Experience working in a production support environment.
Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
