Job description : Customer Engagement: Establish contact with customers to secure bookings and explain the range of products/services available. Documentation Coordination: Collect KYC documents, booking slips, and shipment details (commodity, weight, port, vessel), ensuring all information is complete and accurate. Space Allocation: Coordinate with slot operators for space allocation on vessels to ensure timely shipments. Order Management: Direct the documentation team to issue booking/delivery orders and ensure the proper flow of containers from the empty yard, adhering to FIFO principles. Follow-ups: Track container pickup status and work with operations teams to ensure availability and timely completion of required documents (VGM, load list). SOA Data Management: Prepare and send Statement of Accounts (SOA) data to the accounts team, along with supporting documents for approval. Rate Negotiation: Negotiate shipment-specific rates with principals to optimize cost-efficiency. Operational Oversight: Supervise NVOCC operations, including pricing, inventory, and documentation to ensure smooth operations. Team Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve any issues. Preferred Candidate Profile: Experience: 4-8 years of experience in NVOCC heading operations, customer service, marketing, and documentation. Skills: Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of NVOCC operations, logistics management, and documentation processes. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, with a strong customer-oriented approach.
