Job Title: Nutrition And Dietetics Executive Location: Selected PHC, Sankrail Block, Howrah District, West Bengal Position Type: Full-time Remuneration: ₹14,000 – ₹16,000 per month Vacancies: 1 Experience Required: 2 years - 4 Years of expriences with demonstrated interest or minimum 6 months of relevant experience Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Dietetics , Nutrition , Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics , or Food Science and Nutrition, or development sector. Key Responsibilities: Develop and provide individualized diet plans for patients visiting the PHC based on health conditions and nutritional needs. Offer on-call nutritional guidance for individuals needing remote support. Conduct health and nutrition education sessions both at the PHC and community level. Promote healthy eating habits and awareness about malnutrition, lifestyle diseases, and preventive practices. Travel to field locations as required. Must conduct Community Health Promotion activities at least twice a month (fortnightly) in each village covered under the 2 sub-centers of the PHC. Collaborate with ASHAs, ANMs, and community leaders for mobilization and engagement. Maintain MIS and relevant data related to health education and nutrition services provided. Document case histories, diet plans, field visits, and follow-up actions accurately and regularly. Skills & Competencies: Good interpersonal and communication skills Empathy, patience, and ability to work with rural populations Basic computer proficiency for MIS and data management Self-motivated and field-ready attitude Language proficiency in Bengali and Hindi preferred Reporting To: Medical Officer in Charge (MOIC) of the PHC Project Manager/Nutrition Supervisor (if applicable) Contract Tenure: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
