Job Description

Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in the unit. Ensure proper nursing care is delivered to all patients in accordance with hospital standards. Maintain staff duty rosters, leave planning, and ensure adequate coverage at all times. Monitor patient care plans and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals. Conduct daily rounds to assess nursing care quality and address any patient or staff concerns. Manage inventory of drugs, consumables, and equipment; ensure timely procurement and stock maintenance. Train, mentor, and support nursing staff; conduct regular performance evaluations. Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols. Handle emergencies and provide clinical support during critical situations. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required. Facilitate orientation of new staff and continuous nursing education.
