Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-aid and routine medical care to students, faculty, and staff.
Assess health complaints and administer appropriate treatment or escalate to external healthcare facilities when needed.
Maintain daily patient case logs and medical documentation.
Maintain and update the medicine stock register, including tracking consumption, expiry, and inventory replenishment.
Ensure proper storage, availability, and upkeep of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment.
Handle emergency medical situations and coordinate with hospitals/ambulance services.
Support campus health awareness programs and preventive care initiatives.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the medical room.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Required Qualifications:

B.Sc Nursing from a recognised institution
Minimum
5 years of relevant experience
in hospitals, clinics, or institutional settings
Valid Nursing Council Registration
Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency care, and basic medical procedures
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

Experience managing inventories or medical registers
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Experience in educational institutions
Basic computer skills
