Position Title: Project Manager – Facade & Glazing Department: Projects Reporting To: Managing Director / Operations Head Location: India Employment Type: Full-time 1. ROLE SUMMARY The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end facade, glazing, cladding, and aluminum works for NTI. The role combines project execution, estimation, procurement coordination, fabrication monitoring, and cross-country project support. The PM ensures timely, high-quality delivery of projects while coordinating between NTI (India), NTI (Malawi), suppliers, clients, and site teams. 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES A. Estimation & BOQ Preparation Study architectural & structural drawings to prepare complete BOQs. Perform detailed quantity take-offs for aluminum, glass, ACP, hardware, and accessories. Prepare costing sheets, budgets, and installation timelines. Evaluate quotations and finalize material rates. Project kickoff report, mobilization plan(Gant Chart), Project Execution Plan. Support sales/pre-sales in estimation for quotes and tenders. Provide value-engineering options to reduce cost without compromising quality. B. Vendor & Supplier Coordination Coordinate with suppliers for glass, aluminum sections, ACP sheets, hardware, silicon, and tools. Evaluate and onboard new suppliers to reduce cost. Track material deliveries and ensure timely arrival at sites. C. Project Execution Management Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors and engineers. Ensure facade and glazing works follow approved drawings, QA/QC standards, and safety norms. Solve technical and operational issues without delay. Monitor productivity, sequencing, and material availability. D. Design & Drawing Coordination Coordinate with designers/fabricators for shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting lists. Review and verify drawings before submission to clients/consultants. Ensure revisions are updated, documented and communicated immediately to site teams. E. Fabrication Monitoring Follow up with fabrication units on production status of aluminum profiles, glass, and ACP. Ensure materials match approved specs, thickness, and finish. Verify packing lists and dispatch details before shipment. F. Logistics Coordination (India → Malawi / Local Sites) Coordinate shipping, packing, customs clearance, and inland movement for materials. Track consignments and ensure they reach site as per schedule. Prevent delays, demurrage, and shipment discrepancies through proactive planning. G. Cross-Company Coordination (NTI INDIA ↔ NTI MALAWI ↔ MSSI) Coordinate documents, procurement, shipping, manpower allocation, and client communication across all three entities. Provide weekly project updates and summaries to the Managing Director. H. Client & Stakeholder Communication Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and contractors. Attend progress meetings and submit weekly/monthly progress reports. Maintain professional communication and ensure expectations are managed. I. Quality, Safety & Documentation Ensure all work adheres to QA/QC standards and approved method statements. Enforce safety norms and PPE usage. Maintain project documentation: RFIs, inspection reports, progress logs, material tracking, and handover files. J. Budgeting & Cost Control Monitor project budgets and prevent cost overruns. Ensure optimal manpower utilization and reduced wastage. Assist accounts with billing, measurement sheets, and final client settlements. 3. REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Technical Skills Strong knowledge of façade systems, aluminum fabrication, glazing, ACP, and related materials. Ability to read drawings and prepare BOQs & estimates. Good understanding of structural glazing, spider glazing, curtain walls, windows, and doors. Software Skills MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD (basic), email & reporting tools. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Diploma / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or related field. 5–10 years of façade and glazing project management experience. Experience with overseas projects (Africa/Gulf) is preferred. Strong estimation and quantity take-off background is mandatory. 5.
