Client- MNC Bank Role – Test Project Manager Location- Pune Duration- Till Oct 2025 (Renewal/ Contract to Hire) Prefer - 30-45 Day notice period Budget - Max 15-17 LPA (Based on skills) Job Description : We are seeking a Test Project Manager (PM) to support the Testing Manager on a large-scale GMI replacement programme. The role will focus on coordinating end-to-end testing activities, ensuring readiness across stakeholders, and driving successful execution of the testing strategy. This is a critical role in a high-profile transformation programme impacting futures and listed derivatives businesses. Key Responsibilities * Work closely with the Testing Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee all testing activities for the GMI to XTP migration. * Manage test planning, execution tracking, defect triage, and reporting across multiple workstreams. * Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with Operations, Product, and Technology stakeholders. * Maintain clear test governance, documentation, and adherence to programme timelines. * Support environment planning, data readiness, and cutover simulation testing. * Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and driving mitigations. * Ensure business users, product managers, and operations are fully engaged in test cycles. * Produce status reporting for senior stakeholders, highlighting progress, blockers, and readiness for migration. Skills & Experience * Strong background in **test/project management** within large-scale technology or transformation programmes within a Tier 1 Bank. * Markets experience is preferred, ideally in Futures and listed derivatives Operations or Product functions. * Demonstrated experience coordinating testing cycles, defect management, and test governance. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business, operations, and technology. * Experience with migration programmes (e.g., GMI, XTP, or other post-trade platforms) preferred. * Ability to work under pressure in a time-critical environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, or Technology preferred). * ISTQB or equivalent testing certification advantageous. * Project management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) desirable.
