Manager Marketing & Sales (FMCG) - Who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for both traditional and online retail channels to drive profitable growth, manage brand presence, and achieve sales targets and driving sales and growing market shares of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies. Their role involves building relationships with clients, reaching sales targets, and providing excellent customer service. This involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring quality control, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics to meet demand while controlling costs. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement integrated marketing and sales strategies for both modern trade (e.g., large retail chains) and e-commerce channels. Define, monitor, and achieve sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Create and manage marketing budgets to maximize return on investment (ROI). Develop and implement both short- and long-term sales, distribution, and merchandising plans. Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform strategies. Modern Trade & Sales Management Manage and grow key modern trade accounts, including national and regional chains. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and other stakeholders. Oversee trade marketing activities, such as in-store promotions, displays, and point-of-sale materials. Conduct regular market visits to assess performance and gather insights. Coordinate with sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives effectively support sales efforts. E-commerce Management Manage and optimize e-commerce channels, including the company's website, social media, and paid online advertising. Implement e-commerce marketing and promotional strategies to increase online sales and revenue. Analyze e-commerce performance data, such as conversion rates, to enhance the online shopping experience. Ensure brand consistency across all online touchpoints and collaborate with IT, marketing, and customer service teams. Team and Brand Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and sales materials and channels. Collaborate with product development to support new product launches. Report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns to senior management. Preferred qualifications Proven work experience at senior role in the FMCG industry. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
