Job Description

Lead Node.js

Key Responsibilities

Lead the
architecture, design, and implementation
of backend services using
Node.js and TypeScript
.
Design and integrate with
Graph QL APIs
and multiple internal/external data sources.
Build and manage
containerized services
using
Docker
and deploy on cloud environments (preferably AWS).
Collaborate with
front-end engineers, DevOps, and QA
to deliver full-stack features.
Implement
best coding practices
, ensure code reviews, and maintain robust documentation.
Promote
test-driven development (TDD)
and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
Provide
technical mentorship
and support to junior developers.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance.

Required Skills

Expert-level knowledge in
Node.js
,
TypeScript
, and
JavaScript (ES6+)
.
Strong understanding of
GraphQL
,
REST APIs
, and
API Security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
.
Proficiency in
asynchronous programming
,
Promises
,
Event Loop
, and
Streams
.
Experience working with
AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB)
.
Hands-on experience with
Docker

CI/CD pipelines
, and
microservices architecture
.
Good knowledge of
testing frameworks
such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
Exposure to
Kafka
or
message-driven architectures
is a plus.
Strong understanding of
Git workflows

code review processes
