NodeJS Developer

You are an experienced and proactive Team Lead Node.js Developer who will be responsible for leading backend development for scalable and high-performance applications at Evervent. Your role will involve overseeing a team of backend developers, defining best practices, and delivering robust Node.js solutions that support critical business operations. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of backend development and are capable of collaborating effectively with front-end teams. Your key responsibilities will include leading a team of backend developers to ensure quality, performance, and timely delivery of backend services. You will be responsible for architecting and developing efficient, reusable, and scalable backend systems using Node.js. Additionally, you will design and manage secure, high-performance APIs and backend services, oversee database architecture and data modeling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical implementations with business goals. Monitoring and improving system performance, scalability, and security, conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, and staying up to date with the latest backend technologies are also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on Node.js. Proven experience in leading and mentoring backend or full-stack development teams is crucial. You should have a strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and API development, along with experience in RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integration patterns. Proficiency in database design and management, authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices is required. Familiarity with Git, debugging tools, and modern development workflows is essential, and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other DevOps tools would be advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with React.js or front-end integration concepts is a strong advantage, as well as solid communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. Preferred attributes for success in this role include strong leadership, project ownership, and problem-solving capabilities. You should be able to balance hands-on coding with strategic technical oversight and have experience in agile/scrum environments and product-oriented development.,
