Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and high-performance backend systems using Node.js.
• Provide Architectural design, showcase that he can make platform-level design decisions and demonstrate leadership as to how the platform can evolve
• Define technical standards, best practices, coding guidelines, and architectural frameworks.
• Design and optimize microservices-based architecture and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor engineering teams.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and system quality.
• Ensure system security, reliability, scalability, and high availability.
• Architect RESTful and GraphQL APIs with efficient data modeling.
• Oversee cloud deployment architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex performance, scalability, and production issues.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall software development experience, with 5+ years in Node.js.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of database systemsSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), and data modeling.
• Experience with API gateway, security standards (OAuth, JWT), and API lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS).
• Proven ability to create scalable system architecture and handle high-throughput environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex technical decisions
