Job Description

ValueLabs is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with a strong background in Node.js development. This role is ideal for engineers who are primarily developers but have a passion for building reliable, testable, and scalable systems. While 7080% of your work will involve backend development, you’ll also contribute to test automation and quality engineering using tools like Playwright or similar frameworks. Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Node.js applications using TypeScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions. Ensure high-quality code by following best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies. Troubleshoot issues and debug code to resolve errors or performance bottlenecks. Participate in code reviews to improve overall quality of the application. Desired Candidate Profile 7-12 years of experience in software development with expertise in Node.js (TypeScript) programming language. Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals including event-driven architecture, asynchronous programming, and DOM manipulation. Experience working on large-scale projects with complex dependencies management using npm packages or similar tools.
