Senior NodeJS Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and available RESTful APIs using NodeJS technologies
  
• Build and optimize backend services using JavaScript and TypeScript
  
• Work on GraphQL-based service integrations
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, monitor, and optimize system performance
  
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments across environments
  
• Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  
• Integrate with API gateways such as 3Scale
  
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms like REST, JWT, and OAuth
  
• Work with messaging and task queues such as AWS SQS, Azure Queues, Pushpin, and Kafka
  
• Follow best practices in coding, security, documentation, and unit testing
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
  
• Research, evaluate, and benchmark new technologies for continuous improvement
  
• Ensure quality and consistency of technical architecture across applications
  

Technical Skills

• Minimum

  5 years

  of hands-on coding experience in

  NodeJS, JavaScript, and Databases

• Minimum

  1 year

  of hands-on experience in

  TypeScript

• Strong understanding of performance tuning and monitoring
  
• Practical experience with

  GraphQL

• Strong knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines

  and distributed service troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

• Experience with

  API gateways

  such as 3Scale
• Experience with

  SSO/token-based authentication

  (REST, JWT, OAuth)
• Expertise in

  message/task queues

  (AWS, Azure, Pushpin, Kafka)

Functional Skills

• Familiarity with coding best practices, security standards, and unit testing frameworks
  
• Experience in

  Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech

  is preferred
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  
• Ability to ensure high-quality technical design and architecture
  
• Ability to research, evaluate, and benchmark emerging technologies
