Node Js Backend Developer

JOB TITLE:

Node.js Backend Developer (NestJS / Node.js / AWS) About the Role Were looking for a passionate and skilled Node.js Backend Developer with hands-on experience in NestJS, Next.js, and cloud technologies (preferably AWS). Youll be joining a high-impact engineering team that values clean code, scalability, and performance. Key Responsibilities • Design and build scalable and high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS • Collaborate with frontend developers working with Next.js for seamless API integration • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code using modern JavaScript (ES6+) • Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure backend services are optimized for performance • Implement and maintain unit/integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine • Work closely with DevOps and QA to ensure smooth and reliable production deployments • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Dockerized applications, and cloud infrastructure • Work with relational databases (MySQL) along with prisma with a strong grasp of query optimization and schema design • Engage actively in project discussions, offering insight, curiosity, and collaborative solutions Required Skills & Experience • Technical Expertise • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience with NestJS framework • Familiarity with Next.js and full-stack development concepts • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), particularly: • Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and other common AWS services • Strong foundation in unit testing, testable code practices, and TDD • Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes Soft Skills & Professional Traits • Excellent communication skills: articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow • Positive attitude and a constructive approach to challenges • Proactive in asking questions, suggesting improvements, and taking ownership • Strong sense of adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments • Ability to work independently and within a team   Bonus Points • Experience with monorepo architectures • Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs • Experience in highly regulated or enterprise-grade systems • Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or Event-Driven Architectures
