Job Type : Full-Time Education: Bachelors or masters degree with qualifications in CS (IT) or related fields. Value Added: Cisco / Dell Certified Solutions Architect is strongly preferred. Job Summary This is a key role in the organization. The Network Operations Center Managers primary responsibility is to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure stability of the organization's infrastructure. The Network Operations Center Manager provides overall expertise in the network operations functions. Strategy & Planning - Ability to define, implement and enforce the organizations Configuration Management and Change Management policies and practices. Make budget and purchasing recommendations and capacity planning in order to provide a steady, cost-effective infrastructure to meet theavailability demands of the organization. Team Resource Management- Hire, develop, and retain highly responsive and customer focused engineers to ensure the effective operation of the NOC. Manage tools, systems, and procedures to ensure effective management of issues and customer satisfaction. Operational Management- NOC Manager will manage and provide, as needed, hands-on technical support work related to the overall health and maintenance of the organizations multiple environments. This position will perform tier-2 and 3 escalation support and act as the point of contact in the NOC for all inquiries from other Managers. Required Skills & Abilities Technical competency in the following areas will be foundational for success: Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, etc.). Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG, etc.). Familiarity with firewalls, routers, switches, and network security concepts. Monitor network performance, identify issues, and ensure the infrastructure is functioning at optimal levels. Respond to alerts and troubleshoot network and system issues. Perform routine network health checks, ensuring equipment and systems are up-to-date and functioning correctly. Assist in identifying network outages and escalates issues to higher-level support teams as needed. Provide real-time network status updates to the appropriate teams and customers. Maintain proper documentation of network issues, outages, and troubleshooting steps. Coordinate with internal teams to perform routine network maintenance and upgrades. Follow established processes and procedures for problem-solving and network monitoring. Provide remote troubleshooting support for network systems. Manage network incident tickets and track progress to resolution.
