Role & responsibilities: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team to supportthe accounting and finance activities for our headquarters in the US. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, audits, tax and compliancerelated activities. The incumbent works cross-functionally with internal departments andexternal resources on accounts and finance related issues. The Accountant supportsadherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) as appropriate. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per the Financialreporting frameworkAssisting in audits / reviews / diligence as may be mandated under various lawsPrepare financial MIS reports for the managementEnsuring completeness and accuracy of bookkeeping and financial records beingmaintainedPrepare various reconciliations keep updated schedules for the data reflecting in theaccounting softwareTimely submission of accounts to Tax Advisors for Estimated tax evaluation and annualtax return filingAssist in timely preparation of monthly customer invoices and tracking receivablesMaintaining and updating the Fixed Asset RegisterAssist in consolidation of financial statements and keeping financial data updated fromvarious subsidiariesAssist in preparation of operational cash flow and reconcile vendor and customerledgersProvide data & reports requested by the management team from time to timePerform other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in preparing reports as per the financial framework (IND AS and US GAAP)Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a team environmentconsisting of internal and external team members.Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt tochanging priorities and deadlines.Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability tosupport and prioritize multiple projects.Education and Experience Requirements:Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of industrial experience
