NICU Nurse

As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse, you will be responsible for providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants. Your primary duties will include: - Caring for the basic needs of infants such as feeding and changing diapers. - Performing medical procedures like inserting intravenous lines, conducting tests, and administering medications. - Assisting NICU physicians in various medical procedures and treatments. - Utilizing and adjusting specialized medical equipment as per the requirements. - Formulating nursing plans and assessing the effectiveness of treatments. - Providing comfort to ill newborns and supporting anxious parents and family members during their difficult times. In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess: - A valid nursing license. - Previous experience in neonatal care or pediatrics. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. Please note that this is a full-time position with a rotating schedule between day and night shifts. The work location is in person at the designated healthcare facility.,
