The Telecaller will be responsible for engaging with prospective students, parents, and academic institutions to promote higher education programs. The role involves handling outbound and inbound calls, nurturing leads, providing program information, and driving admissions through effective communication and sales strategies. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct outbound and inbound calls to generate interest in higher education programs and convert leads into admissions. Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, schools, and prospective learners. Deliver clear and effective communication to provide program details and guide prospects through the enrollment process. Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Handle objections professionally and close admissions through persuasive selling. Maintain accurate lead records and track progress using CRM tools. Prioritize leads, manage call flow efficiently, and ensure timely follow-ups. Collaborate with internal teams to support overall admissions goals. Qualifications Prior experience in EdTech or academic counseling preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets. Good understanding of higher education programs and student needs. Excellent customer handling, active listening, and personalization skills. Proficiency with CRM tools and basic computer applications. Goal-driven, adaptable, resilient, and capable of handling rejection. Strong team player with a willingness to learn and improve.
