Role & responsibilities : Job Title : Neuro Technician - IONM Job Description : Perform IONM procedures in the operating room (OT) to monitor neural functions and ensure patient safety during surgery. To confer with patients to obtain information concerning medical history and to explain procedures, Performs and reads results for tests like SSEP, NCV, VEP, BEAP, P300, needle and surface EEG, and EMG, To observe patient during testing and report significant changes in patient's condition to attending medical staff; check limb temperatures and warm patients as necessary. To perform SSEP monitoring in the OT. Conducting EMGs in ICU, ICCU & PICU. To maintain professional conduct, good communication skills, and confidentiality in the care of patients. To maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies. To be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative & protocols of the organization. Preferred candidate profile : Experience : 0-5 years Qualification :B. Sc or BPMT
