Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience of Network and Security Management.
• Strong knowledge of Networking Tools and related technologies.
• Good understanding of Network switches, Firewalls and routers configuration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Reconfigure, rebuild network devices during crash recovery or configuration changes; monitor existing IOS and patches, and manage minor IOS and Juniper upgrades.

• Maintain LAN ports, fix ports and cables, configure VLANs, access lists, VPN tunnels, VLAN Trunking Protocol, Spanning Tree Protocol, Hot Standby Router Protocol, and manage inter-VLAN routing and SNMP parameters.

• Ensure security by configuring authentication protocols, user authentication, encrypted password management, and implementing network security policies during transition.

• Perform network device administration including configuration backups, managing network elements on NMS, and troubleshooting as required.

• Monitor, manage, and control configuration aspects like IP address and subnet mask; perform periodic backup of configuration files and bandwidth analysis, and recommend upgrades or consolidation as needed.

• Record changes in the documents maintained on-site, maintain configuration details and files of all routers, and manage the repository of IOS images standardized for the LAN/WAN environment.

• Maintain documentation in line with the network solution implemented, including connectivity maps of the LAN/WAN environment and location-wise details of leased, ISDN, and other circuits.
