Job Title: Networking Engineer

Location: Vadodara Spencer

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Network Operations Manager / IT Infrastructure Lead

Job Summary

The Routing, Switching & Networking Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This includes configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, optimizing routing protocols, and ensuring secure, high-performance connectivity across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Deployment

Architect and deploy scalable routing and switching solutions
Configure and maintain routers, switches, and wireless controllers

Protocol Management

Implement and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
Manage Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, STP, and EtherChannel

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot routing errors, switch malfunctions, and connectivity problems

Security & Compliance

Implement security measures in routing and switching protocols
Ensure compliance with industry standards and conduct regular audits

Documentation & Collaboration

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs
