Job Description

Skills, Role & Responsibilities: Well versed with configuration of Network Devices (Switch, Router, Firewall, UTM and other) Create a Virtual Network in the simulator (like Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3 etc) Generate logs on each device in the simulator Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/ IP model Configure and install various network devices and services (Switch, Router, Firewall, UTM and other devices). Configuration of Devices for secure remote Access over SSH. Creating Script to automatically configure a rule on firewall and other network devices remotely. Forwarding Logs to syslog server Encrypted or Unencrypted. Verify the Configuration of Network Device. Take Dump of Network Device configuration. Identifying Network device status up/down. Writing rules on Firewall to allow or block the traffic. Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Requirements: Bachelor's degree. (Candidate having graduation/Post graduation in Engineering/ Science/ Technology in relevant field would be given added advantage) Minimum 3-5 years of fulltime experience Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management Ability to create shell scripts Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching Network protocols and packet analysis tools Cisco CCNA/CCNP certified
