Skills/Experience: Industry Preference: Telecom ISP/Vendor Education Qualification: B.E./B. Tech or Equivalent (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent preferred) Technical Skills: Experience with Routers (Nokia required) Network architecture and planning Product engineering Network deployment Netcong Basic understanding of Python scripting Domain Skills: Knowledge of Service Delivery & Service Assurance and Field Processes Functional Skills: Good analytical skills Testing principles and procedures Soft Skills/Behavioral: Openness and cross-functional feedback Excellent communication skills; clear English speaking and writing ability Ability to perform well under stressful circumstances Excellent cross-functional coordination and interpersonal effectiveness Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Coordinate with the IP OEM for preparing and modifying MOPs (Method of Procedure) as required. Handle testing of new network services in collaboration with controllers and developers. Govern weekly/monthly internal cross-functional calls. Track bugs/issues for developers. Capture requirements from developers/product managers. Deep understanding of Ethernet/MPLS technology L2 VPN and L3 VPN services design (VPWS, VPLS, EVPN, IES, VPRN, Internet services). Hands-on experience with Ethernet/MPLS technology (LDP, RSVP, Segment Routing, T-LDP, SR-OS, BGP). Understand and test integration with OSS/BSS. Hands-on experience with Nokia devices (IXR/SR-2s series). Follow testing team process flows. Key Accountabilities/KPIs: Vendor SLA management Understand business requirements and deploy network Document testing processes Prepare and execute processes with various cross-functional teams
