Network Engineer (RF Design & Customer Experience)

Job Description

Identify network problem areas andevaluate/implement solutions to improve customer experience, network qualityand performance Design new sites using simulated coverageanalysis based on radio propagation software (Planet, Atoll) Evaluate and select new site candidates Design antenna configuration for new sites& site upgrades (antenna selection, elevation, orientation, tilt, and SC6compliance) Configure datafill & integrate new sitesinto the existing network Assess impact using network KPIs, customerexperience metrics and other key indicators to demonstrate benefit to customer Produce required technical documentation todemonstrate impact on customer experience from introduction of new site / siteupgrade Create Installation Work Orders to enableimplementation of site solution Identify automation opportunities and laisonwith right team members to deliver automation capability in order to improveefficiency within Wireless Engineering and Operations Requirements Minimum of 5-7 years experience in radionetwork design and optimization focused on 5G and LTE technologies Deep working knowledge and experience ondifferent RAN technologies: HSPA/UMTS, LTE, 5G NSA/SA In-depth knowledge and hand-on skills onNetwork Management Systems (Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2020) In-depth knowledge and hand-on skills usingActix Analyzer and DriveTest Analysis Tools Business acumen to assess value and impact fromthe work
