Role Overview

Network Engineers

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades, and optimizing network resources.
• Provide hands-on network support for production issues across colocation/trading, office, and data center environments.
• Administer and support firewall environments (Fortigate, Palo Alto).
• Upgrade and maintain data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Offer direct technical support for Linux systems and related technologies in live trading environments.
• Assist with network monitoring and troubleshooting of Linux-based servers, including hardware changes, software installations, and upgrades.
• Support VPN and security configurations including IPsec, SSL, and Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and secure trading network infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in

  Routing and Switching

  : VLANs, Inter-VLAN Routing, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, Layer 3, Static Routing, OSPF, BGP, and IP Services.
• Proficiency in

  Firewall and Network Security

  administration (Fortigate, Palo Alto).
• Experience with

  VPN technologies

  (IPsec, SSL, Site-to-Site).
• Working knowledge of

  Linux environments

  and

  Shell/Python scripting

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  network monitoring tools

  , preferably in financial or low-latency environments.
• Ability to set up and configure

  server hardware

  .
• Exposure to

  AWS or cloud networking

  (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualification

• Education:

  B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines (preferred).

• Certifications:

  CCNP required; additional cloud or security certifications will be an advantage.
