Network Engineer

Job Title: Executive: Network Engineer Location: Loni Kalbhor, Pune Department: IT Department Reports To: IT Manager Job Summary: The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the hospital's IT infrastructure, including servers, network switches, IP telephony systems, and NVRs. The role involves monitoring system performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing security policies while coordinating with software vendors and hospital management to support operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve all server-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve all network switch-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve all IP telephony issues on servers. Troubleshoot and resolve all NVR (Network Video Recorder) issues. Regularly check and resolve errors found in the event logs of all servers. Monitor and report daily utilization of storage, network bandwidth, and server CPU. Install software on servers in coordination with software vendors. Perform preventive maintenance on servers and network switches. Conduct random testing of backup data by restoring it on servers. Maintain and manage internet usage policies. Maintain and document server sharing policies. Ensure the confidentiality of all IT-related information. Create and update technical documentation and user manuals. Maintain daily records of calls, issues handled, and resolutions provided. Perform other tasks as assigned by hospital management. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in network and server management. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and IP telephony. Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux). Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of IT security policies and compliance.
