Role: Network Engineer - Azure Cloud Location: Chennai 1. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, engineer, deploy, document, and manage the Azure cloud Infrastructure for an enterprise environment. This includes connectivity between on-premises systems and Azure, firewall configuration, and integration with Cloudflare based on specific project needs and global strategy. The role involves producing professional diagrams and documentation, resolving complex technical problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective solutions. 2. Responsibilities • Design, engineer, and manage network connectivity between on-premises and Azure environments, ensuring optimal integration and performance. • Configure and manage firewalls, including Palo Alto and Cloudflare, in alignment with project and security requirements. • Create professional diagrams, documentation, and operational standards, policies, and procedures for network infrastructure. • Collaborate with technical and business teams to collect requirements, describe features, and design technical solutions. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues while providing clear communication to stakeholders. • Manage network infrastructure domains, ensuring operational efficiency and security. • Participate in an agile work environment, learning and adapting to evolving network technologies. • Lead and mentor a team in Azure cloud infrastructure projects, from design to deployment. • Work with PaaS on Azure, including configuring network components like NSGs, ASGs, and Azure Load Balancers. • Design and implement security solutions, including configuring and inspecting network and host security groups. • Ensure all network solutions align with global business strategy and industry best practices. 3. Qualifications • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, or equivalent experience in related field. • 5+ years professional experience in network engineering, including hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure • Proven experience in designing, interconnecting, and supporting networks within Azure Regions and Availability Zones. • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cloudflare. • Experience with configuring and managing Azure-based network components such as NSGs, ASGs, and Azure Load Balancers. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to all stakeholders. • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for various audiences including technical teams, business partners, and vendors. 4.
