Network Deployment Engineer

As a Service Delivery Engineer, your role involves closely collaborating with Field Network Engineers and contractors to configure networks remotely and set up new installations. Your proficiency in networking coupled with a process-driven and detail-oriented approach will be vital for excelling in this internally focused position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work alongside techs/contractors on-site during installation to fully configure and activate new networks - Generate documentation including as-builts for network installations - Collaborate with the support team to seamlessly transition installs into the support environment - Configure devices for break/fix tickets and maintain equipment config guides - Establish and uphold standardized equipment configurations for all shipped devices - Engage with various vendors for network system turn ups - Conduct wireless network tuning and testing reviews - Provide assistance to support in resolving complex and/or high-priority networking issues **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in IT/Networking field preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of networking experience; Hospitality experience is advantageous - Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English - Proficiency in using proprietary software and willingness to adapt to changing environments - Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities under tight time constraints - Experience with MS Office, Visio, and other industry-recognized software applications - Excellent time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment - CCNA level or equivalent certification; Certifications in Ruckus, Aruba, Fortinet, and Linux are beneficial - Hands-on experience in configuring and installing various networking devices like Routers, Firewalls, Servers, Layer 2/3 Ethernet Switches, and Wireless Access Points - Solid networking skills and understanding of high-density Wi-Fi installations - Familiarity with standards-based networking protocols such as 802.1p/q, 802.1w (RSTP), 802.1s (MSTP), 802.3ad (LAG), and 802.11 networks - Knowledge of networking equipment from manufacturers such as Aruba, Cisco/Meraki, Ruckus, Fortinet, Cambium, and Nomadix - Experience with Radius and 802.1x deployments, as well as WiFi Survey and Predictive Analysis Software and tools like Ekahau Survey In case of any additional company-related information present in the JD, please provide the details for inclusion.,
