Profile- Network and Systems Engineer Experience - 5 to 7 years Location -Mohali SYSTEMS Key Responsibilities Systems Design & Architecture Design, implement, and manage enterprise IT systems and solutions. Develop system architectures to align with business goals and technical requirements. Infrastructure Management Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Security and Compliance Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Automation & Scripting Create and maintain scripts for system automation and process optimization. Utilize tools like Ansible, Puppet, or PowerShell for configuration management. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with development, operations, and project management teams. Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed system documentation, including diagrams and workflows. Prepare regular reports on system performance, availability, and updates Qualifications & Skills Required: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles. HPE.Servers and Storage. Hyper-V, with a clustered hypervisor Proficiency in operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows Server). Strong knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.). Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware VCP). Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines). Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL). Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. NETWORK Key Responsibilities Network Design and Implementation Design and implement secure and scalable network solutions using Cisco technologies. Configure and deploy Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Integrate networks with other platforms as required (e.g., cloud services). Network Maintenance and Monitoring Perform routine network maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or latency issues. Analyze and resolve complex technical problems involving network infrastructure. Security and Compliance Implement and maintain network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company security policies. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes. Generate reports on network performance and recommend improvements. Collaboration and Training Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. Mentor junior network engineers and provide training on Cisco technologies. Upgrades and Optimization Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime. Continuously evaluate emerging Cisco technologies to enhance network performance.
