Job Description

Designation - Sr Engineer/ Engineer - Network administration

Work Location - Balanagar, Hyderabad

6 days working culture

work from office only - No hybrid and remote

Network Management
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Architect and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
Monitor network performance and availability using monitoring tools.
Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations.
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).

Troubleshooting & Support

Diagnose and resolve network issues escalated from helpdesk or IT support teams.
Provide technical support for end-users and other IT staff.
Document incidents, resolutions, and best practices

Infrastructure Planning

Assist in capacity planning and network upgrades.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, routing protocols
.
Hands-on experience with
Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or Palo Alto
devices.
Familiarity with
network monitoring tools
(SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
Understanding of
cloud networking
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
