Job Description

This role involves overseeing the entire Machinery loan and Industrial LAP product portfolio, including Industrial, Commercial, and Residential properties, ensuring business growth, managing risk, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, deep knowledge of the real estate sector, and a proven track record in business leadership. Key Functions & Responsibilities Business Strategy & Leadership: Lead the LAP vertical and develop a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth in Industrial, Commercial, and Residential property loans. Formulate and implement business development plans and strategies to acquire new clients and retain existing ones. Align the LAP vertical's business objectives with the overall organizational goals and ensure profitability and sustainable growth. Product Management & Development: Oversee the development and management of LAP products, ensuring they are competitive, compliant with regulations, and meet market demands. Work closely with the product development and risk teams to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of various property segments (Industrial, Commercial, and Residential). Financial Performance & Budgeting: Drive revenue and margin growth for the LAP vertical, ensuring strong financial performance and achieving revenue targets. Develop annual budgets and forecasts, and ensure adherence to financial targets and cost management. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all LAP lending practices align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement risk management frameworks to evaluate and mitigate credit and market risks across different property types. Monitor loan portfolio quality and oversee the mitigation of defaults, non-performing assets (NPAs), and delinquencies. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the LAP business development, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure high performance and a positive work environment. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the LAP vertical. Provide regular training and upskilling to team members to stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes. Stakeholder Engagement & Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate developers, brokers, and industry influencers. Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities. Market Analysis & Competitor Benchmarking : Conduct in-depth market research to understand emerging trends, competitor offerings, and potential threats in the LAP segment. Use insights to optimize pricing models, loan terms, and product offerings.
