Role & responsibilities Position Title: National Manager General Trade Capability Entity: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) Reporting Line: Head Commercial Capability Team: General Trade Sales Operations Location: Bangalore Job Objective: To lead the development of commercial and sales capabilities across HCCB and address market challenges by equipping teams with world-class bottling and FMCG skills. This role focuses on designing and managing RTM, RGM, and GT curricula to align with business needs and foster a future-ready talent pipeline. Job Responsibilities Commercial Competency Development: Collaborate with the BIG group office to define commercial competencies. Identify competency gaps across commercial support and sales functions. Create commercial curricula aligned with BIG group objectives to build team capabilities. Training Programs and Curriculum Implementation: Develop innovative training materials, including e-learning, gamification, and playbooks. Launch targeted programs to address skill gaps and drive commercial team performance. Monitor and update capability-building strategies to align with evolving business needs. Team Development and Coaching: Focus on developing Commercial and Sales Capability teams, including Sales Trainers, Area Capability Managers, and others. Provide continuous feedback and coaching to enhance team engagement and performance. Identify high performers and nurture them for fast-track career progression and succession planning. Community Building and Innovation: Create a commercial community to share best practices and foster innovation. Collaborate across zones to develop solutions for RTM challenges and align with corporate objectives. Supervision/Reporting Structure Supervises: Manager Capability, Team Leader Capability Key Customers/Stakeholders Internal: RGM & Analytics, W@POS, GT, Finance, Zonal Leadership, OU, BIG Group Office External: Partnering Vendors for RTM Initiatives Job Requirements Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred) Experience: 5+ years of experience in capability building and commercial operations Travel: 60% Functional Skills Analytical Skills: Expertise in data analysis to drive strategy. Decision-Making: Ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic environment. Innovation: Develop and implement innovative solutions. Training & Development: Expertise in designing effective training programs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
