Job Title: MySQL Database Administrator Experience: 1 to 2 Years Location: Chennai Notice Period: 15 Days Job Description: We are looking for a MySQL Database Administrator with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team in Chennai . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing MySQL databases, ensuring performance, security, and availability while supporting database operations. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain MySQL databases. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues. Perform backup and recovery operations. Optimize queries and improve database performance. Ensure data security, user access control, and database integrity. Support database migration and replication activities. Work with developers and system administrators to improve database structures. Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as a MySQL DBA. Strong understanding of MySQL architecture and performance tuning. Experience in backup and recovery strategies (mysqldump, Percona XtraBackup, etc.). Knowledge of indexes, partitioning, and replication (Master-Slave, Master-Master, etc.). Experience with query optimization and performance tuning tools. Understanding of Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL). Familiarity with MySQL Workbench, phpMyAdmin, or other DBA tools. Basic knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python) for automation.
