Job Summary: As a Music Teacher at Orchids International School, you will be responsible for teaching music theory, vocal training, and instrumental music to students. You will foster creativity and a love for music in students while preparing them for performances, competitions, and cultural events, contributing to their holistic development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct music classes focusing on various aspects of music, including theory, vocals, and instrumental skills. Teach different genres of music such as classical, western, folk, and contemporary, based on the curriculum. Prepare students for performances in school events, cultural programs, and competitions. Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their musical abilities. Organize and lead school choirs, bands, or ensembles, as appropriate. Create a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment in the music classroom. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary school activities. Maintain and manage musical instruments and resources required for teaching. Stay updated with the latest trends in music education and integrate them into lessons. Encourage teamwork and discipline through group musical performances. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Music or related field. Proven experience as a Music Teacher in a school or educational institution. Proficiency in teaching vocal and instrumental music (knowledge of western and/or Indian classical music is a plus). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse musical interests and abilities.
