Multi Skill Technician (Electrical)

As a Multi Skill Trainer in Electrical, you will be responsible for training students in electrical installation, maintenance, safety, and repair work according to industry standards and sector skill council guidelines. Your role will involve conducting both theoretical and practical learning sessions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct theory and practical sessions on electrical systems, wiring, installation, and maintenance. - Train students on handling tools, equipment, and following electrical safety procedures. - Teach topics such as domestic & industrial wiring, motors, control panels, earthing, and troubleshooting. - Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and conduct workshop demonstrations. - Ensure compliance with safety standards during practical sessions. - Assess trainees through practical tests, viva, and written assessments. - Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation sheets. - Guide trainees on industry requirements, job roles, and workplace readiness. - Support placement activities by preparing students for technical interviews. - Maintain lab equipment, tools, and ensure the proper functioning of machines. **Key Skills Required:** - Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems. - Ability to teach wiring, panels, motors, and troubleshooting effectively. - Good communication & presentation skills to engage students. - Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance practices. - Knowledge of safety standards including earthing, load calculation, and PPE use. - Proficient in classroom management and mentoring skills. - Basic MS Office & reporting skills for documentation purposes. **Qualification:** - Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Certification from the relevant Sector Skill Council is preferred. - Experience in electrical work or training will be an added advantage.
