We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior MS SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MS SQL development, hands-on experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and an aptitude for data analysis and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment and present key insights to leadership team through compelling storyboards and dashboards. What we expected you to do: Develop, test, and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and views to support business requirements. Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into target systems or data warehouses. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and database performance for better efficiency and scalability. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to support business objectives. Create reports, dashboards, and storyboards using tools like SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau to present insights to stakeholders and leadership teams. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in reporting and analytics. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and ETL failures. Document technical processes, including database objects, ETL workflows, and reporting solutions. Support business teams in interpreting data insights and making data-driven decisions. Requirements What are we looking for: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience as an MS SQL Developer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and hands-on experience with T-SQL. Solid understanding of ETL concepts and practical experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, or similar). Proficiency in data analysis and experience in creating insightful reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau. Understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to create storyboards for leadership presentations. Knowledge of database design principles, including indexing, normalization, and schema management. Exposure to performance tuning and query optimization. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
