Strong Knowledge of Thermoset and Thermoplastic Injection Molding process. • Capable of machine troubleshooting and parameter settings. • Coordinate with Internal Planning and Quality department. • Ability to identify and troubleshoot plastic defects. • Experience in Mold trials and Mold maintenance. • Knowledge of FIFO and traceability systems. • Maintain daily production reports, targets, and check sheets. • Familiar with engineering plastics. • Injection molding machine and material selection for new projects. • Participate in new products quote with related department and provide inputs based on molding capability and new product requirement; • Review mold design, products layout, cooling circuit design with related department. • Responsible for following up mold fabrication and sample trial run at suppliers. • Collect and analyze process date, solve problems during trial run with cross functional team. • Implement rejection control measures to minimize defects and optimize product quality.
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in plastic molding; In-depth knowledge of plastic material properties and molding processes. Mold design background is an added advantage • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Materials. • Excellent communication skills, proactive, and highly responsible. • Good written and oral English skills; proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
