We are looking to hire a talented Mobile-based Application Developer for a consultancy project at VIT, Vellore . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and deploying Android applications and be comfortable working in a cross-functional environment involving electronics integration and AI/ML components. Technical Skills 1. Mobile app development: Proficiency in developing mobile apps for Android and/or iOS using Java, Swift, Kotlin, or React Native. 2. Real-time image/video processing: Experience with real-time image/video processing using frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow Lite, or Core Image. 3. AI/ML integration: Knowledge of integrating AI/ML models into mobile apps using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Core ML. 4. Computer vision: Understanding of computer vision concepts, including object detection, facial recognition, and image segmentation. 5. Camera integration: Experience with integrating mobile device cameras into apps, including handling camera feeds, image capture, and video recording. 6. Cloud services: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure for storing, processing, and analyzing image/video data. AI/ML Skills 1. Machine learning frameworks: Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. 2. Deep learning: Understanding of deep learning concepts, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), and transfer learning. 3. Model optimization: Experience with optimizing AI/ML models for mobile devices, including model pruning, quantization, and knowledge distillation. Soft Skills 1. Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and troubleshooting complex AI/ML-based systems. 2. Communication: Effective communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 3. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML engineers, designers, and product managers. Education and Experience 1. Bachelors or Masters degree: In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience: In mobile app development, AI/ML engineering, or a related field, with a focus on real-time image/video processing and AI/ML integration. Certifications and Tools 1. Certifications: Certifications like Googles Machine Learning Engineer or Apples Certified Developer can be a plus. 2. Tools: Proficiency in tools like Android Studio, Xcode, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Core Image can be beneficial.
