Mobile Automation Tester

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance across Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile automation test frameworks using

  Java/ Selenium/ Appium

  .
• Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
  
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual testers to define test strategies and ensure complete test coverage.
  
• Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and integration testing for mobile applications.
  
• Optimize automation scripts for scalability and efficiency.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  
• Troubleshoot automation challenges and ensure continuous improvement of the automation framework.
  
• Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) to integrate automated tests into pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 58 years of professional experience

  in QA automation, specifically mobile automation.
• Strong proficiency in

  Java

  ,

  Selenium WebDriver

  , and

  Appium

  .
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications across

  Android and iOS

  platforms.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
  
• Experience with build and dependency management tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle).
  
• Familiarity with

  Git

  , version control, and branching workflows.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and tools like Postman (optional but preferred).
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  
• Exposure to cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
  
• Knowledge of performance and security testing (plus point).
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
