Our vision is to empower individuals through insightful self-reflection, leading to a more fulfilling and harmonious life. We are developing an innovative AI-powered self-healing tool designed to help users understand their emotions and experiences by converting emotional patterns into actionable insights. This aims to enhance self-awareness, foster personal development, and improve overall quality of life. We have successfully launched a beta version of our app on both iOS and Android and are actively improving and training our AI for better analytic results. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Mobile App Developer specializing in Flutter to join our lean team. As an early-stage startup, we need someone who is proactive , thrives in a dynamic environment , and can handle rapidly changing requirements . You will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our core mobile product across different parts of our technology stack. An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to quickly adopt new technology are significant pluses. What You'll Do: • Development, and deployment of new features for our mobile application using Flutter across iOS and Android platforms. • Contribute to enhancing the user experience and functionality of the Beyond Mood Journal mobile application. • Collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define and implement product requirements. • Quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed to solve problems. • Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Solid understanding of software development principles. • Strong foundational skills and/or relevant experience in mobile application development, especially with Flutter . • Proven experience in software development is beneficial, but strong foundational skills and the ability to learn quickly are essential. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Bonus Points: • Experience or strong interest in backend API development, with familiarity in technologies like NestJS . • Experience with other components of our tech stack (Next.js, Python, Prisma ORM, Firebase, Mongo, Google Vertex AI). • Contributions to open-source projects or personal side projects showcasing relevant skills. • A genuine interest in mental wellness, self-help tools, or emotional health.
