1. Linux/Unix Administration• Strong understanding of shell scripting, system management, and troubleshooting.
2. Cloud Platforms• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, AKS, GKE, etc.).
3. CI/CD Pipelines• Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, etc.
4. Configuration Management Tools• Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)• Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi.
6. Containerization & Orchestration• Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
7. Version Control• Git, branching strategies, pull requests, code review practices.---Monitoring & Logging• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic.---Databases & Storage• Basic understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud storage and backup mechanisms.--- Security & Compliance•
Secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).•
Understanding of DevSecOps practices.• IAM, network security, SSL certificates.---Soft Skills• Strong communication and collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams.• Problem-solving and root-cause analysis.• Ability to work in fast-paced CI/CD environments.---Optional / Good-to-Have Skills• SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).• Python, Go, or Bash scripting.• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
