MLOps/DevOps Engineer

In this role at GlobalLogic, you will be instrumental in building, testing, and maintaining infrastructure and tools to facilitate fast software development and release. You will be pushing boundaries in AI/Machine Learning for advanced products and systems using video information and IoT systems. Your experience in researching and developing new projects with a team, along with effective communication skills, will be crucial for discussing problem requirements and planning new ideas with the team and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure - Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and tested code in Python and other relevant languages and library tools - Understanding stakeholders" needs and effectively conveying them to developers - Working on automation and improvement of development and release processes - Utilizing professional experience in video technologies for preprocessing, neural nets, computer vision, etc. - Deploying Machine Learning (ML) in large production environments - Continuous learning in AI and computer vision fields - Testing and analyzing code written by others - Ensuring system safety and security against cybersecurity threats - Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes - Collaborating with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and functions correctly - Project planning and participation in project management decisions **Qualifications:** - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS services and products like Batch, SageMaker, StepFunctions, CloudFormation/CDK - Strong Python experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in Machine Learning/AI or Computer Vision development/engineering - Ability to provide technical leadership for designing and securing solutions - Understanding of Linux utilities and Bash - Familiarity with containerization using Docker - Experience with Data Pipeline Frameworks, like MetaFlow (preferred) - Experience in Lambda, SQS, ALB/NLBs, SNS, and S3 (preferred) - Experience with AWS Fargate Serverless Computing Engine (preferred) - Practical experience deploying Computer Vision/Machine Learning solutions at scale into production - Exposure to technologies/tools such as Keras, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, NumPy, DVC/CML At GlobalLogic, you will experience a culture of caring, continuous learning and development opportunities, interesting and meaningful work, balance, flexibility, and a high-trust organization where integrity is paramount.
