Handle commercial analytics projects, specifically marketing mix, customer and brand performance analytics, forecasting, segmentation & targeting projects with proficiency Interact and communicate with internal counterparts in different Business Units and external clients to gather project background, business requirements and end objective Support development and analytics activities in Advanced Analytics Team Role & Accountabilities: Work across projects such as promotional return (ROI analysis), Resource and price optimization analysis, Physician / patient profiling Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently and efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines Ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions Develop a good understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases, and analytical approaches to effectively guide and support client-facing IQVIA counterparts across globe mainly in Europe and US Present findings and recommendations to counterparts in business point of view Handle small and large projects independently / with project lead and help the team in building solutions for various business problems Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving ability with demonstrated hands-on work experience in analytics Should be a quick learner and open for new technologies. Should pick up domain knowledge and relevant technical skills quickly Work independently on defined tasks with 100% ownership on outcomes and timelines Clearly communicate project outputs and identified risks to concern project team Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as well as an individual Proper documentation of all the project related activities Education, Skills & Experience: Bachelor or master s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Statistics / Operations Research / Mathematics / Data Mining OR B. Tech / MBA with relevant experience 4 - 6 years of experience in analytics using the following skills: o Proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel and Power Point. Experience in Excel VBA or other dashboarding technologies is a plus o Proficiency in base R, Python, SQL and SAS o Advanced analytics analyses such as Hierarchical models, Linear & Non-Linear Optimization Techniques, RNN, CNN etc. o Analytical techniques like regression (linear & logistic), PCA, Factor analysis, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees, Random Forest, SVM, GBT and Time Series analysis Good to have: Familiar with pharmaceutical domain, concepts, and terminologies, understanding of broader healthcare market dynamics (broad themes/latest trends in the pharma industry etc. ) Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
