Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities System Updates & Enhancements : Lead and execute high-level updates, ensuring that all necessary upgrades align with business needs, software environments, and security requirements. Dashboard Development : Design and develop interactive dashboards that provide key business insights in real-time. Ensure the dashboards are user-friendly, accessible, and tailored to the needs of various stakeholders, from executives to department heads. Develop dashboards using advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Data Visualization : Use BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create compelling visual representations of key metrics and KPIs. Develop clear, actionable visualizations to aid in decision-making. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution : Diagnose and resolve system issues related to data accuracy, system downtime, and application errors. Data Integration : Implement and oversee data integration between different software systems, tools, and modules to ensure data consistency across platforms. User Support & Training : Provide ongoing support for end-users of the MIS system, including delivering training on dashboard usage, reporting, and system functions. Performance Monitoring : Regularly monitor the performance of dashboards, ensuring they are optimized for speed and efficiency. Address any issues related to slow data refresh rates or user interface problems. Collaboration with Technical Teams : Work closely with software developers, database administrators, and other technical teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of system updates, as well as new dashboard features. Security Management : Ensure that data security protocols are in place for dashboards, including managing user access and ensuring sensitive data is protected. Documentation & Compliance : Maintain proper documentation for dashboard designs, system updates, and compliance with internal data governance regulations. Desired Candidate Profile Requirements : Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio. Strong knowledge of SQL and data management best practices. Experience in programming languages like Python or JavaScript for data processing and custom dashboard features. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and transform it into actionable insights through visualizations. Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM, Highrise software or other enterprise-level MIS platforms. Experience with data integration tools and practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services for dashboard deployment (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 3-6 years of experience in MIS specialist role with expertise in Data Analytics, Dashboard Development, and Advanced Excel skills. Diploma or Graduate degree in Computers or related field; proficiency in English language required. Strong understanding of MS Office applications (Excel, Word) for report preparation and presentation purposes.
