MIS Executive

Job Title: MIS Executive SCM (Fruits & Vegetables)

Department: Supply Chain / Operations

Location: Chembur, Mumbai

Job Summary:

The MIS Executive for SCM (Fruits & Vegetables) is responsible for managing, analyzing,

and reporting data related to procurement, logistics, inventory, and sales performance. The

role involves ensuring data accuracy, supporting decision-making, and improving the

efficiency of the fruits and vegetables supply chain through effective reporting and process

monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management & Reporting

• Collect, validate, and maintain daily data on procurement, dispatch, inward, and

outward stock of fruits and vegetables.

• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on supply chain operations.

• Maintain vendor performance reports, wastage analysis, and price variance reports.

• Support category and procurement teams with actionable insights for demand

forecasting and purchase planning.

2. Inventory & Logistics Tracking

• Monitor stock levels at distribution centers, warehouses, and retail outlets.

• Track logistics movements (first-mile and last-mile) and ensure timely deliveries.

• Highlight discrepancies in stock, transit losses, and delays to the SCM team.

3. Process Optimization

• Identify gaps in data flow and recommend process improvements.

• Automate reports and dashboards where possible to increase efficiency.

• Support implementation of ERP / WMS / TMS systems for real-time visibility.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate between procurement, quality, warehouse, and sales teams for smooth

operations.

• Liaise with IT and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Accuracy and timeliness of reports.

• Reduction in stock discrepancies and wastage.

• Improvement in report automation and data visibility.

• Support in achieving on-time deliveries and optimal inventory levels.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or related

field.

• MBA or Diploma in SCM preferred.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in MIS, preferably in the fruits & vegetables or FMCG

supply chain domain.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros).

• Proficiency in Power BI / Tableau preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination ability.

• Ability to work under tight timelines.
