MIS Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

The MIS Executive (Operations) is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing operational data to support business performance and decision-making. The role involves preparing accurate and timely reports, ensuring smooth data flow across departments, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency within the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management

Gather daily operational data from transport, warehouse, dispatch, and delivery teams.

Maintain accurate and updated databases for all operational activities.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports

2. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.

Track and analyze key operational KPIs such as delivery performance, TAT, vehicle utilization, manpower productivity, and order accuracy.

Highlight trends, deviations, and areas for process improvement through data analysis.

Create and automate reports using Excel, Power BI, or ERP tools.

3. Operational Support

Support the operations department with data insights for planning and decision-making.

Coordinate with transport, warehouse, and finance teams for data validation and reconciliation.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis related to logistics operations.

4. Process Improvement

Identify gaps in data management and suggest methods for process optimization.

Automate repetitive reports to reduce manual effort and errors.

Contribute to the development of digital dashboards and real-time monitoring systems.

5. System Administration & Compliance

Maintain data within ERP, TMS, or WMS systems and ensure timely updates.

Support audits by providing required data and documentation

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company data policies.
